16 February 2006Yesterday, Akis went to family doctor (GP) with her Mum and Dad. It's been almost a month since Akis got tickly cough, day and night. The last two days were even worse. Akis temperatures went up and reached 40 C. Finally, Dad decided we must see a doctor. He called for an appoitnment in the morning and took us to Shanklin House Surgery in Aston Lane. Unlike a sick girl, Akis was happy when she learned they were about to get out the house...eventually after 4 days stuck at home!

e called, Akis went around the GP, exploring! unstopable...even by her Mum.Patients waiting in the room laughed when saw her jumped up and down the chairs...
Mum intervened, 'Akis
, stop please...sit with me!!'... But Akis hardly listened to her...When Akis saw a pile of story books near the reception, she started getting very exicited. 'Mommy mommy, I want that book, mom. Help me. Akis nggak sampai...Help!' cried Akis near her mom's ears... 'Okay, I'll get one but you have promise me to sit down!' ordered Mom.... Akis just nodded her head...
Yes, Akis sat down and started reading (pretending reading actually), but it was just a couple minutes until she got bored and started jumped around again... 'Akis! Come back here!' said Mommy again.
After quarelling, Akis finally settled down
on her chair. Now, it was Mom who read the story for her.
Finally, the time has come, Akis was called in by the doctor! With his smile, the doctor welcomed her to his room. He examined Akis. He measured her temp through inserting a torch-looklike device on her ear, looked her throat and ears, and rubbed her necks... Akis was very quite in there ... or maybe just about (I wondered)....
The doctor told us that Akis's got ear infection, the doctor gave her antibiotic and pain killer... Instead afraid of medicine, Akis was impatiently waiting for her drugs in the chemist....
When she received her drugs she smiled a lot and started jumping around again ....' That's
Akis's obat...!' cried her happily.
'What we are gonna do next', asked Dad when they were about to leave the chemist...
'Akis mau go-go to city centre!' replied Akis. 'Okay then, let's go to shopping centre...!! Horray...!!!!'
